Cyndi, like all cats at CCAS, enjoys the best life we can offer - the best food, vet care, mental stimulation, lots of time to make biscuits (her favorite thing to do with mom), lots of birds and chipmonks to watch and so much more.
Cyndi was born without back paws. She gets around fine - best on carpet. One nub is shorter than the other, which results in difficulty with balance and walking with a significant limp. To get the best care available, she needs physical therapy. To provide this, we need your help.
Please consider becoming one of Cyndi's guardian angels to help support her lifetime care needs.
You can choose the amount you donate to her care. . .
$10 - food for a month
$25 - food and other dailies
$65 - Wellness Plan and dailies
$100 - Wellness Plan, dailies and small emergency medical savings
$150 - all of the above and two physical therapy treatments
$200 adds two more physical therapy treatments
Our wish list on Amazon is also a great way to help!
You read it right...this girl is at CCAS to have fun! I flew in from New York with Dr. Sheila and Orion - a very cool little guy. You might not have noticed, but like Merlin, I am missing two feet - well, he is missing all four. No worries, I still do what I want for the most part. But, I can't scratch my ears...volunteers?
I hope my celebrity won't create too much drama. Mom says I am a diva - whatever that means. I came from a hoarding situation, so I am a bit demanding of human contact - who wouldn't be? I am a doll, despite all that.
Oh, I am four-years-old, which is about the age of most the kitties at CCAS, except Izzy and Boy George aka Zeus.
I am helping even the playing field of boys to girls. The kitty on the waiting list is a girl, too. She is Luma's sister, Lilly. She can't come for a long time, but then we will have an even number of girls and boys - girls rock!
The humans at CCAS don't know much about me, and I can't tell them. I don't know that it matters, except that I have some health problems I need help with - asthma and some 'structural problems' from walking funny on my back nubs. If you want to be part of my care team, that would rock!
I love to hide in boxes and tunnels, but I prefer to spend time on your shoulder making biscuits! And, since I can't scratch my ears, face or chin, it feels so very good to have someone do that! I just can't contain myself - I literally drool all over the hand that scratches me!
I can't use a litter box, and go through several pee pads every day. My nubs are very sensitive and like the feel of certain things, but not others. I try to keep my business on the pad, but sometimes I miss. I really hate it when that happens, but mom understands.
We spend a lot of money on pads, wipes and cleaners. You can help with those expenses by shopping at AmazonSmile if you make us your charity - or send the supplies directly from the wish list!
