ABOUT US
Mission Statement: Our mission is to offer sanctuary and outreach services to special needs and homeless cats.
Colorado Companion Animal Sanctuary (CCAS) is a place where all cats are special. We are passionate about the well being of animals – especially those with special needs. Our board and staff are comprised of unpaid volunteers who offer their time and resources as an altruistic gesture.
CCAS is a small sanctuary in the mountains of Bailey, CO, near Denver. Our journey began with one sweet kitty living with Manx Syndrome, and expanded from there. Most of the cats we serve have some form of incontinence - a niche for which there is very little competition! These cats require skilled care to ensure they get and stay healthy. With this minimal human assistance, they live normal, happy lives.
The Goal of CCAS: Our primary goal is to offer care, comfort and compassion to cats with special needs.
